Security
Pauls Warehouse PTY LTD has put a number of protections in place to ensure that your transactions are extremely safe and that your information is secure.
HTTPS protection
HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol over Secure Socket Layer, or HTTP over SSL) is a Web protocol developed by Netscape and built into its browser that encrypts and decrypts user page requests as well as the pages that are returned by the Web server. HTTPS is the use of Netscape's Secure Socket Layer (SSL) as a sub layer under its regular HTTP application layering. SSL uses a 40-bit key size for the RC4 stream encryption algorithm.
Our site will automatically transfer you from the HTTP site to a HTTPS page when collecting your personal and payment details. Your browser will detect this change and should present you with this prompt;

You should always select NO at this point to ensure that your information remains secure. You can press the REFRESH button at any point in the checkout and you will be presented with this prompt again.
Geotrust
When the first page of the checkout load you will see a GEOTRUST logo which can be click to ensure it is valid. This logo verifies that the website is protected by SSL (secure socket layer) protection and has met GEOTRUST security standards.

Browser Pad-Lock
When transacting via our secure server, your credit card and personal details are encrypted using the latest industry standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) 128 Bit encryption technology before being sent over the Internet. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. You can tell you are in secure (SSL) mode when a little padlock appears on the bottom of the screen.

If you are still unsure about sending your credit card to us via the Internet, then we suggest you use one of our additional payment methods.
